The key performance attribute required of any bucket hook is strength to resist breakage in all temperature extremes. Buckets are always brushing up against trees, brush and or buildings in use. This is especially the case during storm cleanup activities. Few things are as aggravating as having a bucket hook snap during operation strewing tools and blankets on the ground or in the bucket.

The Utility Solutions Bucket-Mate is an advanced generation of bucket hook. All conventional bucket hooks are molded from inexpensive polymer and exhibit minimal breakage resistance, especially during cold weather. The Utility Solutions USBM-004 Bucket-Mate is not molded but machined from sheet stock of high performance polymer. This high performance polymer was selected because it exhibits phenomenal strength and will not break even at cold temperatures. The Utility Solutions Bucket-Mate will not be the cheapest unit you can purchase but it will be the last one you ever purchase.

The inside or interior end of the bucket mate is .75" diameter and will accept the typical tool pouch, even when heavy. The opposite or external end is 1/2" diameter and can serve as a storage holder for electrical insulating blankets. The blanket storage end was designed to be smaller than the blanket hole and thereby not damage (crack) blankets when they are suspended on the bucket mate.

The bucket mate polymer is weather resistance and supplied in bright safety yellow color. Use USBM-004-W to specify a Blanket-Mate modified with a widened slot to accommodate the new thicker ALTEC® buckets
