The Utility Solutions meter grabber tool is indespensible for anyone involved with electric meter installations, removals and changeouts. The working end of the tool is machined to provide a positive capture around the entire meter base. As a result, the meter grabber offers additional mechanical leverage when removing stubborn meters.
Designed with operator safety in mind the meter grabber has NO metal on the working end of the tool. Molded of rugged polymer the tool is shatterproof and lightweight. The light blue tint permits the operator to see the meter/contacts during operation. No need to use both hands to release the meter. The tool incorporates a lever arm to open or close with a positive tool lock in either position. The convenient ball operating handle can be moved to the left or right side as desired to accomodate left handed or right handed users.

Molded from flame resistant polymer the meter grabber will resist burning in event of an arc flash. Side slots permit venting of any outgassing. Fitted with 2" wide arc shields the USMG-002 offers approximately 12" diameter shield for operator safety.
