The LOAD-RANGER XLT® portable loadbreak tool product line includes two (2) basic products. The USLR-XLT-1 model is rated for 7.8KV through 25KV operation. The USLR-XLT-2 model is rated for 25KV through 34.5KV operation. All LOAD-RANGER® tools are rated for a maximum 900 ampere loadbreak. Other LOAD-RANGER® product line options allow the customer to tailor the tool to suit their requirements.  Utility Solutions' offers the tools with or without an operations counter.  An optional insulated hood allows tool use in metal enclosed switchgear.  The tool is designed for easy disassembly and repair without the need to purchase costly sub-assemblies.

Only the BREAK-SAFE® jumper clamp offers full loadbreak, load-pickup and jumper capability all in one tool. Three (3) BREAK-SAFE® product lines are now available. The BREAK-SAFE-15® jumper clamp is rated for 15KV operation and offers 300 ampere loadbreak, 300 ampere load-pickup and 300 ampere continuous jumper operation. The BREAK-SAFE-27® jumper clamp is rated for 27KV operation and offers 300 ampere loadbreak, 300 ampere load-pickup and 300 ampere continuous jumper operation. The BREAK-SAFE-46® jumper clamp is rated for 46KV operation and offers 200 ampere loadbreak, 200 ampere load-pickup and 200 ampere continuous jumper operation. All BREAK-SAFE® jumper clamps come equipped with a highly convenient parking stand to permit use of all existing jumper sets. The multi-function capability of the BREAK-SAFE® jumper clamp offers the utility the means to save repair and maintenance costs and keep the optimum number of meters continuously running. The Mini-MAX™ Load Pickup tool is the ONLY Load Pickup tool rated for 27 kV (other than the Break-Safe™) and 300 amps.  Several unique features include the parking stand which allows you to use your existing jumper clamps, no need to buy and carry a jumper cable just for the tool.  Patent Pending design includes the "gravity latch" which requires the user to turn the tool upside down to reset the tool, thus requiring that it be removed from the power line before resetting.  This feature assures the tool will not be accidentally used to break or drop load.
