The USFS-001 FUSE-SAFE product is a set of top and bottom brackets designed to mount on the ends of a current limiting fuse. On the top bracket is a duckbill clamp for easy installation/removal of the FUSE- SAFE. On the bottom bracket is a parking stand that provides flexibility to the user during installation and operation.

The FUSE-SAFE does not incorporate a fixed jumper lead so it is lightweight and highly portable. Installation of the brackets on the current limiting fuse is simple and easy, requiring only the use of a hex wrench.

This tool can be used in series with the Break-Safe products to add temporary fuse protection and fault close-in protection.

As an option Utility Solutions can provide the FUSE SAFE with a current limiting fuse as selected by the user. Please call the factory and specify catalog number USFS-002 for current limiting fuse selection, pricing and availability. Current limiting fuses used by Utility Solutions in the fabrication of USFS-002 are supplied by T&B Hi-Tech Fuses.
